‘A’ rated stroke care for everyone in Greater Manchester

We have just received the latest SSNAP (national stroke audit) results by CCG. This shows that all residents in Greater Manchester are now receiving ‘A’ rated care in our 9 stroke units. There has been steady improvement since we centralised our acute stroke services in 2015, and these results show that changing the pathway was the right thing to do.

The hard work, dedication and commitment by those who support the acute care pathway in our ambulance services, hospitals, community teams and the voluntary sector has made the difference, and  we can be proud that we now have the best performing inpatient stroke service in the country!
