Four GM stroke units in top 20 in England

The latest stroke national audit data is out (SSNAP) and we are delighted that our three Hyper Acute Stroke Units are all now in the top 10 of directly admitting teams (i.e. HASU type stroke units) in England.
We have 4 units in the top 20 of all stroke units (out of 181 scoring teams) as Trafford General is ranked 10th.
You may well have seen Stepping Hill celebrate their status as the number one performing stroke unit on Twitter which is a monumental achievement!
The region’s stroke pathway continues to deliver excellent care, with every resident receiving ‘A’ rated inpatient care when the data is looked at by borough.
