Hear Edwyn Collins’ stroke story

A film about songwriter Edwyn Collins is to be given a special screening at The Theatre Royal, Ramsbottom on Friday 31st March, door open 6.45pm, film starts 7.30pm

Edwyn Collins is a singer songwriter known for singing with the 80s group Orange Juice and in more recent years the song  ‘never known a girl like you’.

Edwyn had two strokes which left him with little language, and a dense weakness. This film is about his recovery, his life and is a story of love and survival.

The film won nominations for best music film from BFI and the NME as well as several 5 star reviews when it was released. Find out more here.
