World Stroke Day – 29th October

World Stroke Day is celebrated this year on the 29th October. In normal times, we use the day to highlight stroke across the region and hold events and activities to raise awareness.

This year is very different and so we have chosen to mark the day by celebrating the great things that have been achieved to improve stroke care locally.

We still provide some of the very best stroke care in hospital and in the community – a testament to the amazing organisations who work with us, both NHS and in the voluntary sector.

Thank you everyone for being amazing!
