Introductory Trust training days
Fairfield General Hospital – A one-day stroke training programme considering the basics of stroke care within a HASU and sub-acute inpatient unit, including the importance of accurate recording of SSNAP data. It can be used to facilitate work-placed learning and on-line training packages such as STARS.
Manchester University Foundation Trust – A one-day stroke education programme delivered by stroke MDT teams working across the Trust focusing on care for patients as they transition from Hyper acute stroke care to rehabilitation. The day looks at practical steps to provide excellent stroke care for patients and provides an overview of how stroke care is organised and updates on new ways of working.
Salford Royal Hospital – A one-day stroke training programme that covers the basics of stroke care focusing on acute care in the morning and MDT rehab working in the afternoon, including the importance of accurate recording of SSNAP data. It can be used to facilitate work-placed learning and on-line training packages such as STARS.
Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh – A two day training programme focusing on acute care of stroke on day 1 with practical teaching session on the second day.
