Training & Education – online training and resources
Online training & teaching tools
The network has online teaching resources on its Moodle learning platform that help facilitate learning on:
- The incidence, types, causes and impacts of stroke
- The need for rapid and accurate assessment of stroke and the Greater Manchester stroke care pathway
- Stroke care provided in our local hospitals, the community and in the longer term
- Interventions that prevent stroke
The training packages are tailored for different professionals including: primary care, pharmacy, stroke, ward/A&E, social care and ambulance staff. We also offer “Supporting people with neurological conditions in returning to work” aimed at job centre staff but potentially applicable to other professionals.
A certificate is provided upon successful completion of the courses. You can register and then enroll on courses in our section here.
We also have many videos on our YouTube channel.
Our sister network for neuro rehabilitation also has eLearning packages on a range of topics that may be relevant.
